General Notes (Husband)

William served in the expedition against Canada in 1709. It is recorded that his father Samuel petitioned the "Govenor, Her Magesty's Counsel and Representatives of the General Court assembled, to reimburse him for expenses attending the sickness of hes son William Blogget at Watertown, while on Her Majesty's service." He received forty shillings.

Eventually, Willaim settled in Plainfield Connecticut in 1719 or 20. He is mentioned in a transfer of real estate: "William Blogget, physician and wife convey land in Plainfield, part commonly known as Tophet to Henry Cobb, april 30, 1719".
