General Notes (Husband)

Thomas served in the 8th Missouri Confederate Calvary as a private during the Civil War.

Thomas along with William, worked at taking boatloads of horses from Kentucky to Mississippi. It is believed that they delivered horses to the Burnham Plantation and through this link they met and later married two of the Burnham sisters.

When their wives parents died Thomas and William went back to help settle the estate.
